Your coordinator will guide you on what’s appropriate and help arrange options that won’t interfere with your recovery.
Is it safe to go to a salon for hair or nail services after surgery?
Some light services may be possible, but timing matters. You’ll need to avoid anything that requires bending or stretching, involves strong scents or intense heat, or means a long appointment until your clinical team approves it. When the time is right, we can recommend trusted salons and arrange appointments that fit your comfort level and recovery limitations. Nail services are often easier to arrange after surgery than hair services, as many restrictions are in place for hair care postoperatively.
